It happens to all Windows computers in time. Your machine has noticeably slowed down and freezes or even crashes completely sometimes. The problems are getting worse and it doesn't run smoothly and quickly as it did when it was new. It happens over a period of time dependent on computer usage but all computers with a Windows operating system encounter this problem eventually

In the great majority of cases the problem is with your computer registry. All windows computers since Windows 95 have a registry. It is a database or bank of information which the Windows operating system uses to run the computer and the programs you have installed.

As you use the computer, information is stored in this registry. Hence with time the registry can accumulate a lot of unwanted data which takes up a lot of space. Much of this is outdated and no longer needed.
